# Using a Promo Code

GameDay Squad allows new users to enter Promo Codes during the sign up process to redeem exclusive rewards such as bonus packs. These codes are provided by official GameDay Squad partners to give their communities additional value when joining the platform for the first time.

Follow the steps below to enter a promo code and claim your reward.

### How to Redeem a Promo Code

Follow all the steps outline in [Creating An Account](/gameday-squad/getting-started-how-to-play/creating-an-account.md), in particular Step 3 regarding Promo Codes . Depending on the Promo code entered, the reward that will be waiting for you, it is decided by which sport you select in Step 4.

Type the partner code into the **Promo Code** field exactly as it appears and Double-check the code to ensure accuracy.

If successful the following message will appear:

**Important:** If a promo code is not entered during this step, it cannot be added later. There are no exceptions or workarounds, so make sure to enter it correctly. If you have any questions or encounter issues during sign up, please contact GameDay Squad Support before proceeding.

Once you’ve completed the sign up process, you’ll need to verify your account. This verification step ensures that users signing up with partner codes are genuine and allows us to continue offering great value at registration.

After your KYC verification is complete and account is verified, your reward packs will be waiting for you in the Packs section of your account.
