GameDay Squad's unique salary cap system!
A Player Card's salary hit is determined by the rarity of that card, which will never be affected by past or future performances. The sum of the salary hits of your Player Cards on both The Court will total your team’s salary cost. The salary cap breakdown by card rarity is provided below. For GameDay Squad Basketball, only players who are selected on your The Court count towards your salary cap.

The overall salary cost of a coach’s team will be used to determine what competitions they are eligible to play in. There is no salary cap restriction in the Champion Division, so if you ever manage to acquire a team full of Legends you could play every single one of them in your squad!
Note: A salary cap of exactly $5 million will make you eligible for the Classic Competition.
