New Features for the 2025 Global Cricket Championship

The GameDay Squad team has been hard at work creating more additions and improvements ahead of the new season to make this one the best season yet!

Some of the big gameplay changes for 2025 include:

Updated Player Pool:

In February we will launch the updated 2025 player pool update that will include team changes, position changes, player additions and the latest removals. A second update will be made later in February to finalise Pakistan's active squad. Match Centre Addition:

In preparation for the 2025 Global Cricket Championship season, coaches will notice the addition of the GameDay Squad Match Centre. The Matches page on GameDay Squad provides users with an in-depth view of ongoing, upcoming, and completed matchups in which ever sport the coach is competing in. It’s a hub of information for coaches to track the progress and evaluate player performance, plus - make real-time decisions. Stats Centre:

GameDay Squad’s Stats Centre page is a key resource for coaches who want to delve deeper into player statistics. It helps users make informed decisions on squad changes and transfer market moves by providing comprehensive stats across various positions and sports. Special Card Restrictions (Challenger only):

Coaches will only be allowed a MAXIMUM of TWO special cards if they wish to play in the challenger competition. The restriction is not position-bound meaning users can use up to two special cards in any position they like.

Prize Cards:

For the first time in Global Cricket Championship, prize cards will be awarded as seasonal prizes to coaches who finish in the top 10 of each of the Champion, top 5 of the Challenger and Classic competitions, as well as 1st in the Starter Competition! 2025 Global Cricket Championship scoring has been slightly altered to better suit 50 over cricket! In 2025, DOT BALLS will be REDUCED from 1 point per dot ball to 0 points. It is important to note that dot balls will still appear in the GameDay Squad Match Centre and Stats Centre, however the value of that statistic has changed to ZERO points.

Player Card Designs:

Coaches will notice new designs for all active squads in the Global Cricket Championship 2025! These teams include:

• Bangladesh

• England

• India

• New Zealand

• Pakistan

• South Africa
