# Rolling Lockouts

GameDay Squad Gridiron operates with a rolling lockout system. This means that players throughout the round are only locked out when their team's game begins.

The official lockout time for each game is set 1 minute before the scheduled start time. Once a team is locked out, you cannot make any changes (in or out) to players from that team in your squad.

If a game's actual start time is delayed, the lockout will still occur at the originally scheduled time, 1 minute before the official start listed on the fixture.

Example:\
If you have a player in the Thursday Night Football game, which kicks off Friday morning AEST, that player locks 1 minute before that game begins. You can keep making changes to players from the Monday and Tuesday morning AEST games right up until each of those games locks out.
