GameDay Squad is excited by the return of the 2025 QLD vs NSW Rugby League competition!

How to enter

The QLD vs NSW competition is free to enter for everyone! Coaches can submit a squad in the "Competitions" tab on the GameDay Squad Rugby League competition page using their existing GDS Rugby League player cards.

Coaches will find the QLD vs NSW competitions on the "Competitions" page and on the Rugby League Dashboard, on the dashboard page coaches will find all the relevant QLD vs NSW rules. To enter a squad, simply select "Enter" and start building your squad! Complete your squad before the lockout of each round to submit your team.

Coaches will have to enter a FULL squad to be eligible for the QLD vs NSW competitions. If coaches do not have the available squad depth to submit a squad full of QLD vs NSW players, players who aren't playing QLD vs NSW CAN be selected. It is important to note that ONLY QLD vs NSW selected players will have their score count towards the user's QLD vs NSW squad score.

Scoring

The QLD vs NSW competition will use the same scoring used in the GameDay Squad Rugby League competition.

Squad Management and Rules

Coaches participating in the QLD vs NSW competition will have a $10 million salary cap to work with.

In regards to any special card limits, the 2025 edition of QLD vs NSW will have a limit of 5 QLD vs NSW cards (both the 2023, 2024 collection and the incoming 2025 collection), and importantly, no Prize cards or All Star Cards will be eligible for selection. This means that ONLY QLD vs NSW special cards can be used.

Leaderboard and Competitions

The QLD Vs NSW competition will contain 3 rounds of competitions for each of the 3 series games. The competition will reward prizes for round winners as well as the overall winners. The dates in which the QLD vs NSW competitions will be live are: Game 1 - 28th of May 8:05 pm Game 2 - 18th of June 8:05 pm Game 3 - 9th of July 8:05 pm QLD Vs NSW Special Player Cards

To complement the launch of the 2025 QLD vs NSW competition, GameDay Squad is once again releasing special edition NSW and QLD player cards to our Rugby League game.

Details of player cards

• 10 cards per player listed in a 2025 QLD vs NSW Squad

• Available to be used in the regular classic and Champion competitions with at 1.2x multiplier and a 600k salary cap hit (equivalent to a standard Gold card)

• For the 2025 QLD vs NSW competitions, these cards will "upgrade" to a 1.4x multiplier but still with a 600K salary cap hit.

• Cards will be able to be bought and sold as well as traded on the GameDay Squad Transfer Market.
