Offical Game Rules for the 2025 GameDay Squad Rugby League Season
Official Rules: GameDay Squad Rugby League season 2025
1. Introduction
By registering and participating in the 2025 GameDay Squad Rugby League, Participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules ("Rules"). The game is part of an online fantasy sports community that rewards users based off of their own research and knowledge throughout the 2025 National Rugby League season Eligible Participants are able to create one (1) user registration, and enter one (1) team for each sport and per Competition in the game. There are no essential fees, charges, or purchases required to play the game, other than relevant internet usage costs. In-game purchases such as player card packs and transactions made on the transfer market are not a requirement to play the game.
2. Terms of the Game
The Rugby League game commences at 12:01 am Australian Eastern Daylight Savings Time ("AEST") on 02 March 2025 and closes at 11.59 pm Australian Eastern Standard Time ("AEST") on 05 October 2025, and will cover each of the 27 rounds of fixtures in the 2025 National Rugby League Premiership season.
3. Who is Eligible to Participate
Entry is open to all people; although employees of NFT Australia Group will only be eligible for prizes if cards used are purchased through packs or found on the transfer market, with proof of purchase. Non-Australian entrants will be eligible for prizes. There is no age limit for those who are eligible for prizes, however, Participants under the age of 18 will need parental authority.
Only one Registration per Eligible Participant (and per email address supplied) will be accepted. Participants found to have multiple registrations may have their account and assets suspended, or banned. If users are suspected of syndicate activity and our found guilty of syndicate activity, GameDay Squad reserves the right to halt prize payouts, seize account assets, or enforce account suspension or bans.
After Registration, Eligible Participants may participate in all remaining Rounds which have not already been completed or Locked-Out.
4. How to Participate
To participate, the individual Eligible Participants must themselves, complete the online registration process for the game, located http://www.app.gamedaysquad.com.au; choose a squad name and create a complete Rugby League team of and 18 players for Rugby League comprising. The 18 players chosen are fully up to the discretion of the user. Users test their skills and knowledge to build a squad of who the believe to be the best performing players.
4.1 Squads
Each Participant chooses a Squad of 18 Player Cards for GameDay Squad Rugby League according to the salary cap and positional restrictions described on the Web Site.
4.1.1 GameDay Squad Rugby League Squad
Rugby League Squads are comprised of the following positions:
β 1 Hooker player(s);
β 3 Middle Forwards player(s);
β 2 Edge Forwards player(s);
β 2 Halves player(s);
β 2 Centers player(s);
β 3 Wingers/Fullbacks player(s);
β 2 Forwards player(s);
β 1 Halves player(s);
β 2 Backs player(s);
These positions are subject to the prescribed team salary cap for each Competition in the season ("Salary Cap"), as notified on the Website ("Team"). Squads must be Completed (one player in every slot) before the lock-out time for the upcoming Round (as notified on the Website) ("Lock Out"). Any squad that is not complete will receive 0 points for the round
4.1.2 Rugby League: βActive Playersβ
Active players are Player Cards that contribute to the Participants overall score. There are 18 (βActive Playersβ) from the team in the following positions:
β 1 Hooker player(s);
β 3 Middle Forwards player(s);
β 2 Edge Forwards player(s);
β 2 Halves player(s);
β 2 Centers player(s);
β 3 Wingers/Fullbacks player(s);
β 2 Forwards player(s);

β 2 Backs player(s); (together "Active Players");
5. Competitions
5.1 Rugby League Competitions
There are FOUR Competitions of competition for Rugby League, with each Competition defined by their salary cap restrictions.
β Starter Competition: $9 million Salary cap (Rugby League)
β Classic Competition: $10 million Salary cap (Rugby League)
β Challenger Competition: $13 million Salary cap (Rugby League)
β Champion Competition: Infinity Salary Cap
5.2 Salary Cap Accumulation
Salary caps are accumulated by player card rarity. Player card rarities are as follows:
β Bronze: $500k;
β Silver: $600k;
β Gold: $700k;
β Platinum: $800k;
β Diamond: $900k;
β Legend: $1 million;
β All-Star Cards; (Special Cards): $700k
β Prize Cards;(Special Cards): $600k
β QLD vs NSW Cards; (Special Cards): $600k (Rugby League Only)
5.3 Squad Submission
To participate, all Eligible Participants must submit a full Squad of players. All Eligible Participants can opt to participate in any number of competitions if they desire to do so, or alternatively, not participate in any.
An Eligible Participant may choose and edit their (βActive Playersβ) from the initial 18 selected, for a Round at any time before the Lock Out time for that specific player. If, after participating in a Round, an Eligible Participant does not amend their (βActive Playersβ) for the upcoming Round, their (βActive Playersβ) from the previous Round will be used, regardless of whether or not those players will be playing in the corresponding Round.
5.4 Special Cards All eligible participants are permitted to select and use Special Cards if they possess special cards. Below is a breakdown of how many special cards can be used per competition:

Special Cards are subject to the prescribed team salary cap for each Competition in the season ("Salary Cap"), as notified on the Website ("Team").
5.5 Finals Competitions
Following the regular Rugby League season, the Rugby League finals competitions will start. No rule changes will be made between the regular season and Finals Competitions. Finals Competitions will have their own prize allocation. Fixtures (when confirmed) will be displayed in the Matches tab within the GameDay Squad Platform.
5.5 QLD vs NSW Competitions
During the regular Rugby League season, the QLD vs NSW competitions will start. Spanning all three games of the State of Origin, the GameDay Squad platform will have games for each of the QLD vs NSW games with specific leaderboards and prizes for the games. QLD vs NSW player cards as well as Player Cards can be selected. To enter the competition, users must select a full squad for their score to count.
6. Player Cards
Player Cards are used to accumulate points for your overall team's score. Player Cards can be acquired through free and paid Player Card packs and/or on the player card transfer market found on the website http://www.app.gamedaysquad.com.au.
Player cards display the team color, the player's name, the multiplier attached, the rarity of the card, and the player's position.
6.1 Player Card Rarity
Player Card rarity determines the volume of the card available, the Points Scored Multiplier, and the salary cap number applied to it. More information on Salary Cap can be found in βSection 5 Competitionsβ.
The rarity of Player Cards, their volume, and their multiplier is as follows:
β Bronze: infinite - 1.0 multiplier;
β Silver: 5000 cards per player - 1.1 multiplier;
β Gold: 2500 cards per player - 1.2 multiplier;
β Platinum: 500 cards per player - 1.3 multiplier;
β Diamond: 100 cards per player - 1.4 multiplier;
β Legend: 1 card per player - 1.5 multiplier;
7. Scoring of Points
7.1 Eligible Participants will score points based upon the real-life performance of their Active Players for each Round, based on the point system set out below. Points will be awarded (or subtracted) for each performance statistic attributed to each Active Player during the Round as follows:
7.1.1 GameDay Squad Rugby League 2025 Scoring;
Try - 10 Points; Goal - 3 Points; 1-Point Field Goal - 4 Points; 2-Point Field Goal - 6 Points; Try Assist - 5 Points; Line Break - 4 Points; Line Break Assist - 2 Points; Tackle - 1 Point; Tackle Break - 3 Points; Missed Tackle - (-3) Points; Offload - 2 Points; Error - (-3) Points; 40/20 or 20/40 Kick - 5 Points; Meters Gained - 1 Point for every 10 meters; Kicking Meters - 1 Point for every 30 meters; Penalty - (-4) Points; Sin Bin - (-6) points; Send Off - (-12) Points; Try Save - 6 Points; Kick Defused - 2 Points; Forced Drop-Out - 2 Points; Forced Turnover - 5 points; Six Again Infringements - (-2) points; Escape From In Goal - 3 points;
Users score 0 points for every game that is completed within a round without a complete squad. Users must fill out every position slot to accumulate points.
7.2 Bench Players
The bench players will score points and are deemed Active Players. Eligible Participants will be ranked on the website by their score for the previous Round ("Round Ranking"), and their overall score for the Game to date ("Overall Ranking"), where in each case the highest score is the highest rank. The leaderboard will be updated following the completion of each round.
7.3 Data Source
All statistical data is purchased via StatsPerform (https://www.statsperform.com/), official reseller of Rugby League statistical data.
8. Determination of Prizes
During the competition period, winners will be determined for two different prize pools, they are Round Prizes, Season Prizes and Round Specific promotions.
8.1 Round Prizes Winners
Following the completion of all Rugby League games for a specific round, the Participant(s) whose GameDay Squad team(s) has accumulated the highest number of points for that round in each Competition will be declared the Round Prize Winner.
Each Competition will have 1 Round Prize Winner, and the top 1000 Participants for the Starter Competition, top 500 for the Classic Competition, top 25 for the Challenger Competition and the top 20 for the Champion Competition will receive a prize.
Round Prize Winners will be determined by NFT Australia Group Pty Ltd 83 649 452 933 at 5:00 PM (AEST) Monday after the completion of each round of the Rugby League season during the competition period. If an active round finishes ON a Monday, any earnt prizes will be distributed on the following Monday. If there are two rounds completing within a week, both rounds will pay out on the following Monday.

8.2 Season Prize Winners
Following the completion of all Rugby League games for the season, the Participant(s) whose GameDay Squad team(s) has accumulated the highest number of points for the season in each Competition will be declared the Season Prize Winner.
Each Competition will have 1 Season Prize Winner, and the top 10 Participants for the Classic, Challenger and Champion Competition(s) will receive a prize.
Coaches who finish in the top 10 of each of the Classic and Champion competitions will choose the player they want as their prize card. Players are selected and determined starting with the winner of the Champion competition. The selection process is subject to change to include all competitions in future seasons. Prize Cards will be subject to position changes if applicable. GameDay Squad reviews positions annually and subsequent changes will be made if the player is deemed to have warranted a position change from the previous season.

Season prize winners will be determined by NFT Australia Group Pty Ltd 83 649 452 933 at 10:00am (AEST), two business days after the completion of the Rugby League season. All seasonal prizes will be sent and/or allocated to users before the 1st of March 2026. Prize cards distribution dates will be confirmed by GameDay Squad and communicated to eligible winners. Prize cards will be distributed to winners account before the start of the next season.
8.3 Round Specific Promotions - Round Specific Promotions will be variable and may include multiple winners. Round-specific promotions will include prize types such as in-game assets and/or AUD. Round-Specific promotions will be applicable across all fantasy sports and may be applicable to one or more Competitions.
9.0 Transfer Market
Eligible users will be able to participate in the transfer market which is a live marketplace where coaches can participate in peer-to-peer player card trading, live auctions and a place where coaches can sell their cards. At the point of sale the seller will incur a 10% fee or a 50c fee (depending on which is greater) on all sales (buy now, Auction and Trade listings) made on our transfer market for all successful sales.
10. Third-Party Mobile Applications
Third-party applications providers such as Apple and Google are not involved in any way with GameDay Squad competitions.
