Card Exchange
Exchanging your unwanted cards for new packs!
Coaches can now exchange their unwanted GameDay Squad cards for in-game packs. It’s fun, simple and the only requirements being that your account must be KYC verified to participate and you must be a GameDay Squad Member.
This is currently an external feature not available within the platform however it is a long term feature that we will look to eventually have intergraded within the platform.
This feature is designed to give back value to all cards BUT it’s not intended to give you back true value for the cards, that is what the transfer market is for. It’s also important to note that exchange means you have to give up these cards permanently to claim your reward and no exchange can be reversed.
How It works
Coaches can exchange their player cards in exchange for a credit they can use on all packs. The value each player card has in exchange is listed below:
Aussie Rules, Rugby League, Women's Aussie Rules:
Legend = $250
Prize Card = $250
All-Star & QLD vs NSW = $50
Diamonds = $4
Platinums = $1
Gold = $0.20
Silver = 1 X Bronze Player Starter Pack
Cricket (all types) and Basketball:
Legend = $180
Prize Card = $180
All-Star = $50
Diamonds = $3
Platinums = $1
Gold = $0.20
Silver = 1 X Bronze Player Starter Pack
Football:
Legend = $100
Prize Card = $250
All-Star = $50
Diamonds = $4
Platinums = $1
Gold = $0.20
Silver = 1 X Bronze Player Starter Pack
Note: You do not have to use the pack credit you earn on the sport that you exchange cards for. For example, you could exchange 20 diamonds in Aussie rules and use the $80 in pack credits on Aus Cricket All Star Packs.

In the text channel named Members-Only-Exchange, list the sport, rarity and number of cards that you would like to exchange.
A GDS staff member will then reach out via DM's to coordinate the player card exchange
Once all exchanges are made, you will then request how you would like to use the credits.

Other Key Points
The limit to the number of exchanges a coach can make is dependent on their membership type
Coaches must be KYC verified to participate
There is no expected turn around time with these exchanges, so please be patient in times of increased demand.
There is currently no timeline on when these features will be added to the platform. When added to the game, it may require a membership however there will always be limited number of exchanges avaliable to all coaches every month.
No card obtained by GDS in the exchange ever goes back into packs. These will become the ownership of GameDay Squad and can be used in marketing giveaways or through GDS Auctions
