Prohibited Trading and Market Activity
Ensuring a Level Playing Field for Every Coach
At GameDay Squad, maintaining the integrity of our platform, competitions, and Terms and Conditions is essential. Fair play and transparency sit at the heart of everything we do. Unfortunately, from time to time, a small number of coaches attempt to exploit loopholes or act outside the spirit of the game. These behaviours undermine the experience for everyone and we take them seriously. Over the past few months, we have been working hard to strengthen our systems, improve detection, and close these gaps. While we have already made significant progress in 2025 toward removing prohibited sales within the platform, we now have the technology to accurately track prohibited trading activity and remove fraudulent accounts swiftly and permanently. These incoming actions are designed solely to protect our community, preserve fairness, and uphold the Terms and Conditions that every coach agrees to when joining GameDay Squad.
Our Terms and Conditions
Our terms and conditions clearly stat the following: 5.4.1 Maintaining Fair Competition We are committed to ensuring a fair and competitive environment for all users. By using our platform, you agree to engage in gameplay and trading in good faith, without attempting to exploit or manipulate the system in any way.
5.4.3 Unreasonable or Suspicious Trades All trades conducted on the platform must reflect fair market value and competitive balance. Any trade that is deemed unreasonable, suspicious, or indicative of collusion or cheating may be reviewed and reversed at our sole discretion. Trades that create an unfair competitive advantage or undermine the integrity of the platform may be blocked or reversed. Repeated attempts to engage in unfair or manipulative trading may result in account suspension or permanent bans.
9.5.1 Account Management and Suspensions Suspension and Deletion: Game Day Squad reserves the right to suspend or delete any user account that is suspected of gaming, abusing, or violating our terms and conditions. This includes but is not limited to accounts that engage in fraudulent activities, create fake or multiple accounts, or attempt to manipulate the system.

With that in mind, we will be implementing the following measures:
As of 23 October 2025, the GameDay Squad platform has implemented enhanced monitoring across all marketplace and platform transactions. This includes greater information into the parties involved in trades and improved detection of unusual or prohibited activity.
Any coach found repeatedly engaging in transactions with the same user or group of users that do not reflect fair market value or competitive balance, or are deemed unreasonable, suspicious, or indicative of collusion or cheating, will face disciplinary action and risk further actions.
First Official Warning
A first official warning will be issued to both users involved in actions that breach the platform’s Terms and Conditions. Along with the warning, the following penalties will apply:
Both coaches involved in the transaction will receive a score of zero (0) in all competitions for that sport in their next round (or the current round, if it is already in progress).
Both coaches will forfeit eligibility for any Seasonal Prize Card in that sport for the current season.
Continued breaches may result in extended suspensions or permanent bans, with all player cards, winnings, and account balances forfeited upon account deletion or suspension (see clause 9.5.2.ii).
We also encourage our community to report any transactions on the marketplace that may be in violation of clause 5.4.3 - Unreasonable or Suspicious Trades.
Understanding What Is and Isn’t Allowed
Below are clear examples to help coaches understand which actions are acceptable and which are prohibited.
✅ What Is Allowed
Trading and Market Activity We’re not here to play commissioner on every trade. Our goal is to ensure patterns of repeated, unbalanced trades between the same users, especially those sharing an IP address are punished. If you’re ever unsure, just reach out to us. We’re always happy to clarify.
All trades involving Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum Cards These card types are not the focus of our current crackdown, and coaches can continue to trade and transact with them freely. Our goal is to support healthy marketplace activity, especially where it helps new coaches build their squads and stay engaged with the community.
Friends, Family and New Coaches We understand that many coaches trade cards with friends, family, and new community members to help them get started. This remains encouraged and is one of our favourite things to see, as long as trades involve the aforementioned card types and reflect genuine participation.
We also love seeing new coaches join through your networks whether that’s a partner, friend, or family member. Having someone close to you playing does not mean it’s a fraudulent account. In most cases, these accounts are run independently, comply with the Terms and Conditions, and have already been verified through KYC when required.
Cross-Sport Trading We recognise that cross sport trades can sometimes appear uneven at first glance. However, these trades are permitted when conducted in good faith and without any intent to manipulate competition outcomes. To help us maintain transparency, we simply ask that coaches notify our team before completing these transactions. This helps us understand the context and saves everyone from unnecessary follow up questions later.
🚫 What Is Not Allowed
Unfair Trades Involving Special, Diamond, or Legend Cards Any transaction involving these card types must reflect fair market value and competitive balance. There are no exceptions unless explicitly cleared by GameDay Squad in advance. This area is the primary focus of our crackdown on Unreasonable or Suspicious Trades.
Off-Platform Trading and Sales All forms of off-platform trading, selling, or transferring of cards or assets remain strictly prohibited. Violations may result in trade reversals, account suspensions, or permanent bans.
Syndicate Activity The unauthorised pooling or transferring of player cards between multiple accounts to consolidate advantages or influence competition outcomes will result in immediate account termination for all involved parties.
Our Goal
These actions are not about restricting trading but about protecting fair competition. By ensuring all coaches play within the same rules, we keep the GameDay Squad experience competitive, authentic, and enjoyable for everyone.
