Squad Management
Once you've opened your first packs, you’re ready to start building your squad!
Building a squad
Regardless of which competition you are competing in, there are three parts of the squad-building process on GameDay Squad
The Field - The field is built from all your best players and consists of all the players that will be actively scoring or your team.
The Bench - There are 5 bench positions for GameDay Squad Rugby League, these players DO contribute to your overall team score and act no different to the players on the field
Reserves - This is where you’ll find all your non-active players. You can have an unlimited amount of reserve players but they do not contribute to your scoring in competitions

Scoring Players
There are 18 active scoring players that can earn your squad points in a given round split up into the following positions:
On Field:
Hooker - 1
Middle Forwards - 3
Edge Forwards - 2
Halves - 2
Centres - 2
Wingers - 2
Fullback - 1
On Bench:
Forwards (Hooker, Middle forwards and Edge forwards) - 2
Halves - 1
Backs (Centres, Wingers and Fullbacks) - 2
Its important to again note their is no scoring difference between an on field player or a bench player.
Reserve Players
The GameDay Squad Reserves are where coaches will find all their Player Cards that aren't being used in competitions. There is no limit to the amount of Player Cards a coach can keep in their Reserves. The Player Cards in your Reserves do not contribute to your score for the round.
Rules around swapping players
GameDay Squads unique gameplay allows coaches the freedom to make more changes to their squad, before during and after the start of games.
Before Rounds
There are no restrictions to the number of changes you can make to your squad in between rounds. This means you could change all 23 players from 1 round to the next or leave them exactly as they are. its all about making sure that every round you play the best squad you can for that given round.
Before Rounds
Coaches can also make as many changes to their squad during a game as they like, with the only exception being that they cant swap in or out any players that are already locked out (their game for the round has already started).
During Rounds
Coaches can also make as many changes to their squad during the round as they like, with the only exception being that they cant swap in or out any players that are already locked out (their game for the round has already started).
