New To 2024/25

New features for the 2024/25 AUS Cricket season!

Batsman and Wicket-Keepers combine!

For the AUS Cricket season and beyond (unless communicated) the Batsman position line will transform into a Batsman/Wicket-Keeper position line, meaning Wicket-Keepers can be selected in Batsman position slots. This is to allow coaches greater flexibility with their squad selections and allow another level of strategy and tactics!

It is important to note that Batsman CANNOT be selected as Wicket-Keepers, ONLY Wicket-Keepers are permitted to be selected as Batsman in 2024.

Updated Player Pool

We will launch the updated 2024/25 player pool update that will include team changes, position changes, player additions and the latest removals.

Multiple Competitions!

Test your skills and expertise across Multiple Competitions simultaneously! GameDay Squad are excited to announce that our coaches will be able to Create, Coach and Compete in ALL available competitions! In simple terms this means that coaches will be able to submit teams for both the Classic and Champion competition if they wish! But it doesn’t end there! GameDay Squad will be introducing TWO new competitions that coaches will be able to compete in! Namely the STARTER Competitions and the CHALLENGER Competition, users will be able to submit teams for all FOUR active competitions! The Starter Competition will be a bronze only competition and the Challenger Competition will be a salary-capped competition that sits between the existing Classic and Champion Competitions. Round based fantasy! While GameDay Aus Cricket will be familiar with experienced GameDay Squad coaches, with all the bells and whistles that make GameDay Squad fantasy sports great still being included in Cricket, the fixtures will be a little bit different this time around compared to past seasons... GameDay Squad AUS Cricket will be a Round by Round as opposed to a daily Fantasy Sports competition, GameDay Squad AUS Cricket will become a round based fantasy sport on the platform, similar to how Aussie Rules, Rugby League and Basketball operate.
